Terms of Service
Last updated: October 7, 2026
1. Provider and scope of service
“Shanhaidiandian POS” (the “Service”) is a cloud operations system for food-and-beverage businesses, covering ordering, real-time kitchen display (KDS), customer self-order by QR code, checkout and reconciliation, inventory, online reservations, waitlist, notifications, and business analytics.
The Service is operated by Shanhaidiandian Technology Enterprise (山海點點科技企業社) (Tax ID: 61455610), contact admin@taiwan-cmo.com. By using the Service you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate, complete registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- The Service is intended for business operators; you must be authorized to use it on behalf of your establishment.
3. Payment and subscription
Purchases and payments for the Service are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd acting as “Merchant of Record.” Your payment transactions, taxes (such as applicable VAT/sales tax), invoicing, and billing are additionally governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms and its refund policy.
- The Service is billed by subscription (monthly or annually) at the rate shown at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You may cancel at any time; after cancellation you retain access until the end of the current billing cycle, and no further charges are made.
4. Free trial and refunds
- 30-day free trial, no credit card required. You may fully evaluate the Service during the trial.
- Within 7 days of starting a paid subscription, you may request a refund if unsatisfied; refunds are handled through Paddle per its process.
- When a trial ends, your data is not deleted immediately; it is retained for a reasonable buffer period so you can decide whether to subscribe or export it.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful activity or to infringe the rights of others.
- Do not reverse-engineer, gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, or damage the operation of the Service.
- Do not misuse the Service to send unlawful or unsolicited messages.
6. Data ownership and export
Data you input or generate through the Service (including menus, orders, revenue, and your end customers’ data) belongs to you. With respect to your end customers’ personal data, you are the data controller and the Service acts only as a processor on your instructions (see the Privacy Policy).
You may export and take your data at any time; after termination we provide a reasonable period for export, after which data is deleted or anonymized per the Privacy Policy.
7. MCP connector (AI assistants)
The Service offers an official MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector that lets you operate your own POS and reservation data conversationally inside AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. Access is via OAuth 2.1 login and is scoped to your own merchant (tenant) data only; the connector executes the tool actions you invoke and does not read your conversations, chat history, or other data not required to run the tool. See the Privacy Policy for data-handling details.
The connector performs no transactions. It sells nothing, processes no payments, never handles payment card data, and cannot initiate or apply any funds — there is no checkout tool in it, and collecting payment is always done in the POS application itself. If the merchant requires a deposit for a reservation, the connector declines to confirm that reservation; please confirm it in the POS. It also has no tool for creating or modifying staff accounts. None of the connector’s tools accepts a password, API key, verification code, or any other credential as a parameter; sign-in happens only on our own login page. The subscription described in section 3 above is purchased on our own website and handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record; that purchase happens outside the connector and cannot be initiated, changed, or cancelled through it.
8. Service availability
The Service is provided “as is.” We work to keep it stable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or entirely error-free operation. System maintenance, third-party service outages (such as Paddle, cloud hosting, LINE, Google, telecom networks), or force majeure may affect availability. The Service is cloud-based and requires an internet connection.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of business, data corruption, or lost profits) arising from use or inability to use the Service. The operator’s aggregate liability is limited to the fees you actually paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.
10. Changes and termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate part or all of the functionality at any time; material changes will be posted on this page and communicated to you by reasonable means. If you breach these terms, we may suspend or terminate your access.
11. Amendments
If these terms change, we will post the update on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Disputes arising from the Service are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
